Kenya Tea & Coffee Festival
Welcome to Kenya’s ultimate tea and coffee experience
Kenya is globally renowned as a top producer of high-quality Arabica coffee and black tea, which are among its leading export commodities.
Coffee and tea are deeply woven into the cultural, economic, and social fabric of Kenya, providing livelihoods to millions of smallholder farmers while contributing significantly to the national GDP.
However, while Kenyan coffee and tea are celebrated internationally, there remains a gap in domestic appreciation, value addition, branding, and consumer engagement.
The Kenya Coffee & Tea Festival seeks to bridge this gap by providing a vibrant platform that celebrates the heritage, innovations, and future of these two iconic beverages.
The Expo, held in conjunction with the Africa Food & Drink Festival, has the following objectives:
-
Celebrate Kenya’s Coffee & Tea Heritage – highlight history, culture, and traditions of coffee and tea growing communities.
-
Promote Local Consumption & Value Addition – encourage Kenyans and international visitors to embrace locally grown, processed, and branded products.
-
Market Access & Trade Opportunities – connect farmers, processors, exporters, home and hospitality buyers, distributors, and investors.
-
Showcase Innovations – highlight new technologies, sustainability practices, and value-added products.
-
Promote Tourism & Cultural Exchange – position coffee and tea as part of Kenya’s cultural and culinary identity.
The Kenya Coffee & Tea Festival will be a landmark event in Nairobi, positioning Kenya not just as a raw commodity exporter, but as a global brand for premium coffee and tea experiences.
It will provide opportunities for farmers, businesses, and consumers to connect, learn, and celebrate while strengthening Kenya’s role in the global beverage industry.
